Pantry Update August 2025
The FCC Weekly Emergency Food Pantry, coordinated through our partnerships with Love INC and Feeding America, continues to serve our community. Many of those served are first- timers, as Love INC guides our neighbors-in-need out of poverty through classes and counseling while helping churches address their immediate needs.
Here are the numbers of guests served at our FCC Pantry in August 2025.
August 7 = 7 Households, 25 Individuals, 1 Senior, 13 Kids
Note: 100 degree day with lots of walking guests.
August 12 = 11 Households, 27 Individuals, 4 Seniors, 10 Kids
August 19 = 12 Households, 25 Individuals, 10 Seniors, 8 Kids
August 26 = 14 Households, 21 Individuals, 5 Seniors, 4 Kids
Totals for month: 44 Households, 98 Individuals, 15 Seniors, 35 Kids
Blessings to our FCC Congregation and volunteers
for supporting our neighbors-in-need.
If you are interested in serving at the Tuesday afternoon Love INC Food Pantry at First Congregational Church, contact Ann Taylor and she will forward your information to Shirley Lawton, pantry manager.
Our neighbors can contact Love INC during normal business hours and speak with one of their trained volunteers. They go over some needs assessment questions and are scheduled a pantry visit as needed until they can get back on their feet. Our pantry volunteers and partners do an amazing job of providing for the needs of our neighbors. Each person receives approximately one week’s worth of pantry food and sometimes, when available, will also receive freezer items such as meat, butter, and bread.
