A Tradition Returns!
FCC’s Mission and Service Department has chosen The HOPE Project for this year’s Giving Tree Mission. The young women, ages 11-25, have great spiritual and emotional needs, to be sure. They also have material needs that we can help to provide.
We are being asked to provide:
Gift Cards to fast food restaurants;
Gift Cards at Meijer and Walmart;
Warm socks;
Hygiene/Basic Household Products: dish soap, full size shampoo & conditioner, deodorant (not roll-on kind), full size toothpaste, toilet paper, clothes washing supplies, loofahs, ethnic hair care products, etc.
Gift tag ideas for 21 girls and young women are available starting November 9th and gifts will be due back at church (place unwrapped, in boxes under The Giving Tree) by Sunday, November 30!
